INSPIRATION FROM A PRAYING MANTIS

Last night I experienced the most magical feeling - I was drawn towards my Himalayan Salt Lamp (this is a lamp made out of salt and it gets rid of negative energies such as the rays from TV's, cell phones, radios etc.)  It is the most beautiful pink/peach colour.  I have mine resting on a plate.  Sitting on the plate under the lamp, was the most exquisite praying mantis in prayer position.  I am not religious, but felt compelled to also put my hands into prayer position and just be still for a while.  It felt so peaceful.

I truly believe we can learn a lot from the insects and animals around us.

The SAD diet includes on average about 5,000 artificial additives each year. Raw broccoli contains just about as much calcium as whole milk and is linked to lower cancer risks.

ALIVE! My Morphed Newsletter

SENSE ABOUT SCENTS has morphed. As an Independent Representative of the Young Living Essential Oils company, many received a monthly newsletter via email, SENSE ABOUT SCENTS. When I am forced to categorize this blog, it's under health and wellness, but my readers also find posts and links relating to greening our world, family, spiritual matters, shopping, and more. In the last couple of weeks I've learned to offer an opportunity for readers to be...

His Handprints

A man leaves all kinds of footprints when he walks through life. Some you can see ... others are invisible, like the prints he leaves across other people's lives. -- Margaret Lee Runbeck As a reflexologist perhaps I could better say I leave handprints across the footprints of another's life. . . . in any case reflexology at its best is loving, caring, supportive touch. I pray the invisible prints I leave may be seen as the beauty of THE CREATOR and His awesome touch -- A touch that He allows to flow through me as His humble vessel and thereby becoming His life touching the life of another.
