Destressing Your Holidays and Life

If you are looking to find peace this holiday season, and any and every other time, the words of wisdom from the HeartMath Institute go a long way. Here is a featured article by Doc Childre of HeartMath in Prevention with 5 simple yet powerful ways to transform your stress: Here are some excerpts: Release Frustration, Impatience, Irritation and Anxiety: When you feel impatient, stop and still your body and mind; then imagine you are breathing in the attitude of patience. If you feel anxiety, breathe the feeling of calm and inner balance... This resets your emotional system and stops the stress response.  Say No to Drama: ... become conscious of when you are preoccupied with excessive worry and drama. Then, when you sense drama coming on, try to slow down and take pause (again, be still in your body and your mind, just for a moment). Reduce Self-Judgement: Practice releasing judgments of yourself. Be easy on yourself. Try to connect to your heart, release your feelings ...

Peace on Earth and in Your Holiday Celebrations!

Tranquility is life to the body." Proverbs 14:30 Peace on Earth. . .A major holiday theme, but often our lives are anything but peaceful during this very busy season of celebration. Running from shopping to cooking to entertaining to travel to parties to decorating and perhaps gift making as well we are often out of steam, stressed, and on edge. The meaning of the season is almost sure to be lost. Add to that, stress is a major factor in 90% plus of all the dis-eases of our bodies. King Solomon shared the avove quote thousands of years ago. How true it is.  Is it time to take a closer look at those todo lists and calendar apps, and make the time to minimize your holiday stress and maximize your enjoyment of the holiday? Reflexology's number 1 benefit  is stress reduction. With reduced stress, of course, healing on many levels has opportunity to take place in your body  Footsteps in Eden Reflexology has created a haven for you to spend 30-75 minutes tota...

Quantum Healing Video with Gregg Braden

I love the work Gregg Braden has offered our world. He has many wonderful books I would highly recommend, including "Divine Matrix" and "The Spontaneous Healing of Belief". Here is a great video Gregg has shared with us. In it you'll see actual footage of healing, documented in real time, of a bladder tumor disappearing, you'll see what affects our thoughts, prayers, and focused attention have on water crystals and the state of peace within the world. We can ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE on creating healing and peace within ourselves, our families, communities and our world. The power has been within us along.

Finding Peace with Unbearable People

I found a great article and exercise about How to Get Along with People You Don’t Like (And Make Your Life More Peaceful in the Process) . In a nutshell, Brian Vaszily explains the importance of identifying the people who we dislike or make us feel anything but fabulous (not usually hard to find). Then to dig for something, anything, that is of a positive nature in them. Something worth emulating. And then to focus on those qualities. Of course, this is not to say we should put ourselves in harms way by being in a hostile relationship, but to give us a chance to find peace in those relationships that seem to wrap themselves around us. As Wayne Dyer says, " Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. Same world." Enjoy Brian Vaszily's article at IntenseExperiences.com This is another great time to mention Bryon Katie's Work, which is another incredibly powerful way to help deal with people you don't like or can't stand. We Love Our Salt Lamp!!!

Our salt lamp glows all day next to our bed. It's so refreshing to walk by it, especially knowing that the air has been renewed; a most peaceful night's sleep awaits. (We do turn it off at night as the brightness of the light does create some interference with our sleep.) Have just begun to use another one of these terrific lamps next to my computer. I look forward to an awesome testimony here, too. Solay has so many different natural and eco-friendly products available, I'll know I'll be spending quite some time in discovery. More reports to come from my first hand learning.

A More Peaceful Season Ahead

Silver bells. Ring-a-ling, here them ring. It's Christmas time in the city! Where were you on Black Friday? And Today? It's Cyber-Monday you know? The report is that businesses will lose over 4 million dollars of productivity in the workplace today, as employees use their work computers to shop online. Sales figures for this year's marathon weekend were higher than last years. That is a HUGE deal in the retail world, but it is rather unsettling when we face the music of the price we pay to celebrate Christmas this way. How do we destress? Is it possible to bring back the peace and joy of the birth of The Savior to this season that at its true heart is all about JESUS! A local newspaper columnist introduced the following website in her writing yesterday. Jesus offers us the most wonderful relationship EVER with Him, and because of Him we celebrate with family and friends. Would you like ideas for keeping your holiday more of a relational celebration of Jesus, family and frie...

Diffuse Tranquility

True pure AROMATHERAPY has limitless possibilities for health and wellness. We keep so many of these in our home, that most people are delighted and intrigued by the beautiful aromas when they enter.
